Based out of Eora, Australia, Irene J. has built an impressive catalog, featuring releases on labels including Over and Out, clipp.art, Dishevelled London Records, Extra Spicy, and EELF.

The warmth of Irene J.'s lo-fi beginnings shines through in GABS001. "About That" fuses delicate vocal samples with crisp breaks and occasional acid lines, all the while drenched in a dense and melancholic atmosphere. Similarly, "Cloud Over Ashfield" reimagines the sounds of intelligent or ambient jungle & drum and bass. Expertly programmed breakbeats roll over constantly evolving cosmic pads to transport the listener into another realm.
